The new board installation ceremony was hosted at Hotel River View Pvt. Ltd. presided by Mr. R. Muthiah Pillai, President, Confed-ITA. The outgoing president Mr. S.K. Baskaran delivered the Welcome address and honoured the Chief guest Mr. R. Muthiah Pillai by adoring a shawl followed by Secretary Mr. S.R. Ramesh, who honoured the Chief guest by adoring a Garland.
The function added colours with the presence of VAIT members along with visiting members and President, Secretary, Jt. Secretory & Adviser from ITTA, Puducherry.
The new board took charge under the presidenship of Mr. J. Prakash. The Chief Guest Mr. R. Muthiah Pillai felicitated the new team and delivered an excellent speech for around 1:30 hours. His speech motivated the members on business activities and his future plan on various projects in the name of “Akshayam”, which would make Confed as a much strongest association in the field of Information Technology.
VAIT always believes in serving to the society as one of its duty. In this function VAIT donated a DELL Laser Printer to M/s. Rise Rehab Center for Special Children, sponsored by Mr. Hussain Basha and Mr. Kalidas.
This function ended with the vote of thanks delivered by the Incoming Vice-President Mr. Srinivasan.
Our Sincere thanks to Mr. R. Muthiah Pillai (President, Confed-ITA), Mr. Venu (President, ITTA, Puducherry), Mr. Soundarapandiyan (Secretary, ITTA), Mr. Sabarinathan (Jt. Secretary, ITTA) & Mr. Aravindan (Adviser, ITTA) who traveled a long way to reach us, within a short notification, and made this event grand success.
