VAIT - Vellore Association for Information Technology started in the year 2003 with 25 members for the welfare of customers, distributors, dealers and resellers in the field of information technology. To exhibit the latest Information Technology available in the market, to create awareness and make the updated trends to reach the general public, VAIT Conducted “ The Great Vellore Bazaar” – an IT and Consumer Products exhibition during August 2003.
This was the first ever event conducted in the historical city Vellore, which created Technology Awareness on IT related products. The visitor got a chance to update and interact themselves with the participating companies. The event got full support from both vendor side and public side. So made this event to continue the following years and is being hosted regularly.
Now VAIT , through it’s members, ensures consumers the availability of all range of products along with prompt service backup at their doorsteps. Also VAIT is a part of CONFED-ITA, which includes more than 18 associations over Tamilnadu.
